Ignite is this young adult ministry, flowing out of Guiding Light Assembly. Ignite started as a youth fellowship in 2015, meeting on the first Saturday of every month. Today, under the leadership of Pastor Adeolu Adefarasin, Ignite is a church for young adults in Lagos, Nigeria, meeting every Sunday.
We value the opportunity to gather and explore the riches hidden in the word of God. We know that as Christians, followers of Jesus Christ, it is our responsibility to search after God with reckless abandon, and see that the light of God is not hidden from this generation.

We are young Believers in the real world, following the Way, the Truth and the Life that Jesus patterned for us – in practical ways. We know it’s not always easy to seek first the Kingdom of God in the times we live in, and so we come together to fellowship, to encourage one another, and to strengthen one another on this Christian walk.
 

To see our generation - in Lagos, Nigeria and the world - surrendered to Christ, young people walking boldly in service of God, influencing the culture of the world with the culture of the Kingdom.

Teach young believers, through Worship, Prayer & The Word, who they are in Christ. Equipping them, with values and culture of the Kingdom of light, to overcome the kingdom of darkness.

We seek to reach young adults, primarily between the ages of 18-35, to expose them to the truth of Christ and teach them to cultivate a personal relationship with God.
